What inspired you to develop music for yoga, meditation and mindfulness?

We’ve been writing ambient tracks ever since we started writing albums, but what really triggered lots of things to happen was our first ever yoga set at Burning Man 2014 where we got asked to DJ for Elena Brower’s sunset yoga practice. I personally also practice yoga and find meditation routine very useful for my daily, music and touring life and the entire Flow State project has given a wonderful way to merge our ambient music with what’s so close to our hearts.

Describe where you are most at peace in the world?

In nature.

What does it mean to you to be in a flow state? How do you get there? How does it feel?

For me, I often reach a flow state playing piano - it’s a state where time disappears, creativity blossoms without fear or stress. I can reach similar states through meditation, playing with children and physical exercise or yoga.
