This month we invite you to nourish the relationships that you have with food, the people in your life, and last but not least, yourself. 

Calm's Mindful Living Calendars offer daily challenges that build upon the lessons and themes presented in the #DailyCalm. (Speaking of the Daily Calm, join me for a live meditation on Friday, June 1st!)

Living mindfully is about expanding your awareness through the art of attention. The purpose of these daily challenges is to notice what comes up for you and meet whatever arises with curiosity and compassion.

For example, on June 1st we invite you to: Listen to someone else's perspective today. This doesn't mean that you have to validate their ideas or agree with them, but rather to notice what happens in your body, mind and heart as you listen to someone who sees the world differently than you do. Does your jaw clench? Do you feel angry? Do you have a desire to interrupt them and prove a point? Do you want to leave? 

Observe whatever comes up without judgment, it's all information that can help you to better understand and take care of yourself. It also empowers you to respond to the situation rather than react to it.

Without a doubt as you shift the relationship you have with yourself it ultimately impacts and shifts your relationships with other people and the way you meet your life.
