This 24-hour festival wants you to have fun while talking about mental health and wellness

getahead festival

The Getahead Festival invites you to celebrate life, acknowledge the ups and downs of being human, and gather practical tips to ‘get ahead’ without burning out.

In an amazing space near London Bridge ,  Getahead will start at 6am on June 13th with yoga and a sober rave, then talks, panel discussions, live comedy, live music, more yoga, meditation, productivity workshops, an event called The Tech Off, pop gigs, party DJs, and an epic disco dancing rave-up til dawn.

Note: They don’t expect you to come for the whole 24 hours! You can come and go as you please through the day.

Our very own, Michael Acton Smith, will be giving a keynote talk about wellbeing at work followed by a Q&A.

Many of us at Calm share a similar story with the founders of the Getahead festival. Outwardly our lives looked successful and inspiring but behind the scenes we weren't just burning the candle at both ends, we were blow torching it. The combination of working intensely and putting off self-care inevitably led us each to a unique set of of physical and mental health struggles.

We know we're not the only ones.

Burnout and depression are on the rise. Thank goodness people are starting to talk about it and explore ways to forge a kinder, healthier and more sustainable path ahead.

Join us if you're in the area!
